Medical translation
My pricing is generally calculated on the basis of a fixed project fee, taking into account the linguistic and technical complexity of the project.
Certified translation
For certified translations, I charge in accordance with the German Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act (JVEG). As of 2025, the base fee in accordance with Section 11 of the JVEG is €1.95 per unit of 55 characters or part thereof. For non-editable texts, the fee increases to €2.15 per unit of 55 characters or part thereof.
Audiovisual translation
For audiovisual translations, I charge per audio minute. This is because the time required is directly determined by the length of the video and the spoken content. The longer the video and the more complex the language, the more time is needed to create an accurate translation with precise timing. This pricing method ensures that both the fee and the amount of effort required remain transparent and fair.
